EnTech has supplied expert CM, engineering design, and virtual design and construction (VDC) services for a wide variety of shorefront and marine projects across the New York metropolitan area, including work at bridges, waterfront parks, cruise terminals, and marine transfer stations. Our engineers, technologists, and construction professionals are familiar with the unique design and construction challenges, environmental considerations, permitting requirements, and safety concerns posed by projects in and adjacent to waterbodies.
EnTech’s CM division has experience monitoring construction and representing owner’s interests for public works programs large and small. Among our recent projects are East Side Coastal Resiliency, a $1.4 billion reconstruction of 2.4 miles of Manhattan’s East River shorefront; multiple improvements at the Manhattan Cruise Terminal; and various roadway, water main, and sewer projects at shorefront locations. EnTech is the lead CM consultant for numerous New York City Department of Parks and Recreation (NYCDPR) projects, including new shorefront parks and the reconstruction of seawalls.
EnTech’s design, environmental, and digital disciplines all boast similar experience with waterfront infrastructure. In particular, our environmental engineering team has extensive experience preparing permits for New York City Small Business Services (SBS), the New York State Department of State (NYSDOS), and the U.S. Coast Guard (USCG), among other authorities responsible for overseeing coastal projects.
