Climate change affects everyone, and today public agencies and private developers alike must anticipate and plan for the effects of climate change by designing and constructing infrastructure and buildings that can withstand, adapt to, and recover from extreme weather and other climate effects. At EnTech, we help to fortify transportation infrastructure, critical facilities, and entire communities through a wide variety of resiliency improvements.
Our resiliency portfolio includes overseeing hundreds of green infrastructure contracts as an owner’s representative for the New York City Economic Development Corporation (NYCEDC). We have provided an array of design and CM services for the NYC Wastewater Resiliency Program, a major NYCDEP initiative to fortify the city’s wastewater network. And on a larger scale, EnTech has been a critical team member for major coastal resiliency programs to protect Manhattan and Staten Island from future weather events and rising sea levels.
