Water mains, sewers, underground conduits, sidewalks, roadway medians, retaining walls—these pieces of infrastructure often go unnoticed, but they make daily life in modern communities possible. EnTech boasts an extensive catalogue of projects involving utilities, roadways, and other urban infrastructure systems across the New York metropolitan area, ranging from the reconstruction of individual intersections to the overhaul of major transportation corridors.
EnTech has led resident engineering inspection (REI) and construction management (CM) services for dozens of projects involving the installation, replacement, and extension of trunk and distribution water main; storm, sanitary, and combined sewers; and catch basins, hydrants, manholes, and attendant equipment. Our dedicated New York City Department of Design and Construction (NYCDDC) team has played a key role in projects to reconstruct and improve roadways, sidewalks, and curbs throughout the five boroughs, including overseeing the construction of sidewalk pedestrian ramps to achieve ADA compliance.
Our experienced project teams are well-versed in the design, environmental, and permitting requirements of these multifaceted projects. We work extensively with project stakeholders and community representatives to ensure project goals are reached with minimal disruption to the surrounding community.
