NHSA Green Infrastructure Project Wins Distinguished Engineering Award

EnTech was the lead REI consultant for the award-winning project in Hudson County, NJ

EnTech is proud to announce that the NJ Alliance for Action has bestowed a 2024 Distinguished Engineering Award on the North Hudson Sewerage Authority’s (NHSA) Park Avenue Green Infrastructure project.

EnTech was the prime REI consultant for this project, which constructed 10 right-of-way bioswales along Park Avenue in Weehawken and West New York. These installations collect and manage stormwater and mitigate sewer overflows during periods of heavy rain.

With this project for the NHSA, EnTech continues its strong record of work in the green infrastructure sector. The firm has previously served as the lead owner’s representative for a major green infrastructure program undertaken by the NYCEDC, in addition to providing geotechnical, civil, and environmental engineering services in support of various green infrastructure initiatives throughout the New York metropolitan area.

The award will be presented as part of the NJ Alliance for Action’s 11th Annual Distinguished Engineering Awards, on July 17.
