The New York City Department of Parks and Recreation (NYCDPR) undertook the reconstruction of the Cadman Plaza Oval, a roughly 2.5-acre area of Cadman Plaza Park in Downtown Brooklyn. Work involved replacing pavement, granite curbs, lighting, water supply and drainage systems, asphalt paths, stairs, seating, and landscaping. Further work included resetting the steps and pavement at the base of the William Jay Gaynor Memorial.
EnTech provided CM services for this project. The firm monitored project progress and acted as a liaison between the contractor and client. The team verified project details and shop drawings, ensured materials were submitted and approved, and inspected completed construction for alignment with contract specifications.
