Trench Restoration and Water Main and Sewer Replacement at Three Locations REI

The New York City Department of Design & Construction (NYCDDC) maintains NYC’s extensive sewer system to safeguard residents’ health and safety. At three locations in Staten Island, the NYCDDC is undertaking the replacement of distribution water main, storm sewer, and sanitary sewer, as well as restoration of utility trenches to bring this infrastructure into a state of good repair.

The project includes full street reconstruction and resurfacing, and reconstruction of curbs, pedestrian ramps, and sidewalks to achieve ADA compliance.

EnTech is the prime REI consultant responsible for coordinating and monitoring construction, beginning with work along Alaska Street in the North Shore area of the island. The firm is monitoring contractor work for conformance with contract documents, specifications, and health and safety protocols. EnTech manages payments and provides services including office engineering, budget management, document control, and technical support.
