Riverside Drive Viaduct Rehabilitation REI

Rehabilitation of the steel superstructure and concrete substructure of the Riverside Drive Viaduct, a 78-span elevated structure stretching 1,870 lf between West 153rd and West 161st streets in Upper Manhattan. The project includes roadway deck replacement; railing repair; steel stringer replacement; refurbishment and repointing of historic granite parapets; removal of concrete encasements and abatement of lead-based paint; and pavement reconstruction; as well as drainage, lighting, and signage upgrades.
