We’re pleased to announce that Ali Vedavarz, PE, PhD, has joined EnTech as Vice President of Vertical Construction. Ali arrives at EnTech with 36 years of experience in vertical construction and has managed numerous projects involving new buildings, renovations, MEP upgrades, building automation, and more. He served more than 15 years with the City University of New York (CUNY), where he rose to the position of Executive Director for the Department of Design, Construction, and Management. He previously worked for the New York City Housing Authority (NYCHA), including as a Deputy Director for Engineering.
With EnTech, Ali will manage a wide range of building projects and oversee the expansion of EnTech’s team and market share. His record of delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget will be an asset for ensuring EnTech’s success in the vertical construction market. Ali will nurture relationships with clients, architects, engineers, and developers, as well as support technical staff across the firm’s vertical projects.
