EnTech’s Jan M. Brown, CSHM, Receives Award from National Safety Council

EnTech is thrilled to announce that Jan M. Brown, CSHM, has been awarded a Safety Service Award from the National Safety Council (NSC). Jan received the award as the Site Safety Manager on the construction management team for New York City Department of Environmental Protection (NYCDEP) project CAT-252, the Replacement of Two Bridges Near the Ashokan Reservoir.

The NSC cited the project as having a “benchmark safety program.” A third-party audit lauded the on-site safety training program, as well as the consistent commitment to safety across all levels of management.

The important project involves replacing two bridges near the Ashokan Reservoir, a part of the NYCDEP’s Catskill/Delaware network of reservoirs that supplies much of New York City’s drinking water. Work includes demolition of existing concrete bridges, construction of new bridges and adjacent roadways, and site improvements.

Congratulations to Jan and to all the other members of the project team who are diligently creating a safe and productive working environment!
