The East River Esplanade forms a major component of the Manhattan Waterfront Greenway, providing public access to a long stretch of waterfront stretching from East Midtown to East Harlem. To extend the esplanade’s service life, the New York City Department of Parks and Recreation (NYCDPR) is undertaking a multiphase rehabilitation. Phase 3 is rehabilitating substructure and superstructure elements at three segments of the esplanade: East 62^nd Street to East 64^th Street, East 76^th Street to East 81^st Street, and East 90^th Street to East 94^th Street. The scope of work includes pile work, façade rehabilitation, and seawall and sinkhole repairs.

EnTech is leading the CM team for this project and inspects construction for adherence to approved plans and contract documents, coordinates construction activities, and monitors the project schedule and budget. The firm coordinates material deliveries, marine access, pedestrian protection, and construction staging to accommodate the area’s high traffic, restricted site access, and navigation regulations.
