The Waterfront Pathways Program, organized by the New York City Economic Development Corporation (NYCEDC), is helping to forge the future of New York’s waterfront and coastal resilience sector. The program, now in its third year, is fostering the development of firms focused on resiliency and sustainable infrastructure while providing growth opportunities for small businesses and reducing procurement disparities. The result is a more diverse and competitive talent pool, ready to address urgent infrastructure needs in and around New York City.
EnTech is pleased to be a Pathway Opportunity Partner (POP) for this important NYCEDC program. As a POP, EnTech is supporting the program’s Fellows—small to mid-sized minority-owned, women-owned, and disadvantaged business enterprises (M/W/DBEs) active in the waterfront, marine, and coastal sectors. The 2025 class of Fellows comprises firms that provide services ranging from engineering and surveying to marine construction and a wide variety of trades. Graduates of the program become prequalified for NYCEDC contracts, gain experience on transformative projects, receive top-notch training and technical assistance, and form networks with established industry players.
As a women-owned business enterprise (WBE), EnTech is committed to mentoring and elevating the next generation of M/W/DBE contractors and consultants. We are honored to be partnering with the NYCEDC for this valuable program that is increasing equitable access in the waterfront sector while addressing urgent infrastructure needs.
The Waterfront Pathways Program is coordinated by Sacks Communications, a public relations and integrated marketing group serving the design, construction, and real estate industries. The senior sponsor of the program is Johnny Celestin, the NYCEDC senior vice president of M/W/DBE engagement.
