Employee Spotlight: Megan Salazar

EnTech provided REI services for an NYCEDC project to alleviate congestion and restore wetlands in an important transportation corridor in College Point. Project Title: 132nd Street Extension Agency: NYCEDC Services: Resident Engineering Inspection

We’re checking in with EnTech’s Megan Salazar, one year after her promotion to VDC manager. In her new role, Megan is working as the BIM manager for the design-build team at the JFK Terminal One Redevelopment. For this $4.2 billion megaproject, she leads BIM management, coordination, and technology and innovation strategy.

Megan has been with EnTech since 2021, initially serving as a senior VDC engineer. “This new role allows me to foster a relationship with a new client, expand EnTech’s portfolio for BIM management, and manage projects to be delivered on time, on schedule, and to EnTech’s high standard of quality,” she says. “I get to help other engineers on the team develop their career paths, which has been particularly fulfilling. I also have the opportunity to be increasingly involved with business development by expanding the VDC team’s portfolio to new markets and services, with the ultimate goal of ensuring EnTech stays on the cutting edge of the industry.”
