The Merchant’s House Museum, an 1832 rowhouse, is one of the city’s best-preserved examples of the late Federal/Greek Revival style and is a New York City Individual Historic Landmark and Interior Landmark. This joint project of the HHT and the New York City Department of Parks and Recreation (NYCDPR) involves the reconstruction of the building stoop, in-kind exterior façade replacement of brick, restoration of marble elements, and interior repairs, in conformance with preservation standards.
EnTech is leading the CM team supervising contractor work on-site. The firm manages the complex construction schedule, planning daily activities around the museum’s operating schedule, as access remains open to the public. The team coordinates activities between the owner, contractor, and the New York City Landmarks Preservation Commission (NYCLPC).
